Welcome to Zara’s Driving Lessons. By booking and attending lessons with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. General

We provide professional driving tuition in line with DVSA guidelines.

All lessons are subject to instructor availability and area coverage.

Minimum lesson duration is 1 hour, unless agreed otherwise.
2. Lesson Bookings & Payments
-
Lessons must be booked in advance by phone, email, or online.
-
Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, or approved methods.
-
Block bookings must be paid in full before the first lesson.
-
All payments are non-transferable and valid for 6 months from purchase.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
-
48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
-
Less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the full lesson fee being charged.
-
Illness or emergencies may be considered at our discretion.
-
Lessons may be postponed in unsafe weather, vehicle issues, or other unavoidable circumstances.
4. Punctuality

Students must be ready at the agreed time and location.
-
If the student is late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.
-
If the instructor is late, lost time will be added or rescheduled.
5. Student Requirements
-
Hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and bring it to the first lesson.
-
Meet the DVSA eyesight requirements.
-
Inform us of any medical conditions or disabilities affecting driving.
-
No alcohol, drugs, or impairing medication before lessons.
6. Vehicle & Safety
-
All lessons take place in a fully insured, dual-controlled vehicle.
-
The instructor’s decision on safety matters is final.
-
Aggressive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour will result in the lesson ending without refund.
7. Driving Tests

Use of the instructor’s car for a driving test is at the instructor’s discretion.
-
Confirm test dates with the instructor before booking with the DVSA.
-
If the instructor deems the student unfit for the test, the car will not be provided.
8. Refund Policy
-
Refunds for unused lessons available within 14 days of purchase, if no lesson has taken place.
-
Block bookings that have started are non-refundable, unless in exceptional circumstances.
-
Refunds will be processed within 10 working days via the original payment method.
- Any cancellations of driving lesson appointments are non-refundable.
9. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)

We only collect personal details necessary for your lessons (name, contact details, licence number).
-
Information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with your consent.
-
All data is stored securely in line with UK GDPR regulations.
-
You can request a copy, update, or deletion of your personal data anytime.

Communications may be recorded for training and quality purposes.
10. Liability

We are not responsible for loss, injury, or damage caused by the student’s actions.

The student is responsible for any fines, penalties, or legal costs from their driving.
11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.
